Recruiting Social Pledges 10% of Toronto Profits to For Youth Initiative
The Toronto-based nonprofit will receive donations from Recruiting Social as part of the company’s Ten Percent Giving commitment.
Toronto, ON – December 5, 2016: Recruitment services company Recruiting Social has announced that, as part of its giving commitment, ten percent of profits earned through its Toronto-based operation will be donated to the For Youth Initiative, a local nonprofit organization that provides programs and services to teens and young adults living in low-income neighbourhoods.
“It’s all about giving everyone an opportunity to become tomorrow’s brightest team members and leaders,” says Recruiting Social founder Chad MacRae. “If there truly is a talent shortage, then we need to be doing something about it. That’s what our Ten Percent Giving promise is about: creating a better future for everybody in the communities we live and work in.”
“Recruiting Social is making an amazing commitment to youth in our community,” says Shaneeza Nazseer Ally, executive director at For Youth Initiative. “We are thrilled with the partnership!”
This is Recruiting Social’s third charitable partnership following similar commitments to STAND Foundation in Vancouver and Fulfillment Fund in Los Angeles. The 14-person company has donated $20,000 so far in 2016.
