Recruiting Social Is a LinkedIn Top 25 “Most Socially Engaged Staffing Agency” in 2017
Out of 60,000 eligible companies, Recruiting Social is 17th out of 25 in North America that made the “Specialist Boutique” sized-firm list.
Los Angeles, Vancouver, and Toronto – October 19, 2017: Recruiting Social has been named to LinkedIn’s 2017 Most Socially Engaged Staffing Agency list. The recruiting company was ranked 17th in the Top 25 list of “Specialist Boutique” sized-firms (fewer than 15 employees) in North America.
Recruiting Social, with over 6,800 LinkedIn followers and fewer than 10 employees, maintains a strong presence on the professional social platform. Uniquely among recruiting firms, the company publishes content for employers and talent acquisition professionals instead of candidates.

To rank companies for the list, LinkedIn took into account the social reach, employee engagement, employment brand and content marketing power of the more than 60,000 search and staffing firms active on the social networking platform. The thousands of data points were collected from September 1, 2016, until August 31, 2017.
The three key areas measured were:
1. Content marketing – an agency’s content efforts measured by members’ engagement with that content: Content including company updates, sponsored updates, influencer and employee posts, and employee shares; member engagement including likes, shares, comments, follows, and clicks.
2. Social reach and social engagement – an agency’s presence on LinkedIn, measured by how many users: View and apply for Jobs, follow the Company Page, research a Career Page, and engage with company content.
3. Social recruiting – how effective the agency’s team members are at: Establishing professional brand through profile completeness and rich content; finding the engaging with the right people; and building meaningful networks.
